Biophysical scoring (28-42 WEEKS)

3,000.00

Biophysical scoring refers to the Biophysical Profile (BPP), a non-invasive prenatal test that assesses fetal well-being by measuring five key indicators: fetal breathing movements, gross body movements, fetal muscle tone, amniotic fluid volume, and the fetal heartbeat. Each indicator is scored as either 0 (abnormal) or 2 (normal), creating a total score out of 10.

A score of 8-10 is considered normal and reassuring, while lower scores, such as 4-6, may indicate a problem and require further monitoring or intervention, such as induction of labor.
