This ultrasound procedure is conducted 22-28 weeks into pregnancy to examine your baby’s development and identify potential congenital problems by looking into the development of fetal organs and body parts and can detect certain congenital defects. It includes an assessment of the position of your placenta, the amount of amniotic fluid, and fetal growth measurement.

In most cases, you can learn the gender of the fetus. You can also request that the gender be kept for your gender reveal purposes.
